Shredding Competition!

For all you shredders out there Shredacademy.com have teamed up with GHS Strings and Rocktron (also part of GHS Strings) to hold a Guitar War!

"On July 1st there will be 5 backing tracks of 30-45 seconds long for anyone to download. Your job will be to record the most insanely cool guitar/bass/keyboard solo over the backing track in an attempt to win prizes. There will be 3 catagories to win, which will be announced with more info when the war begins in July! There will also be prizes for 2 runners-up in each catagory."

"For each of the 9 runners-up and winners we have a box of GHS strings (worth $107.88), stickers, catalogs... the winners of each of the 3 catagories will also win a Rocktron Distortion Stomp Box (worth $99) as well."
