Shredneck - the ultimate warm up device!?

Really? Is it? I think its pretty funny myself, now The Gripmaster is a simple portable device to strengthen your fingers and I get that... but the Shredneck is supposed to be for warming up (presumably backstage) and yet it's almost the size of a full size guitar! Why not just take your guitar backstage, oh sorry they must be all set up on stage ready and waiting... if they are, you're obviously pretty successful and therefore you can afford another one to keep backstage!!! What is even funnier is that there is an artists page with custom paint jobs for people like Jimi Bell where they expertly paint a cross on the headstock. Oh and it comes with a gig bag and a tuner... erm. ok.
Does anyone acutally use one of these? Answers on a postcard...

Never have, but I'm not a gigging guitarist. Maybe it's like a Linus blankie, that giggers can carry around for comfort? I'm sure it's a decent enough tool to keep your warm and limber for when the coach sends you in.
I don't really see the point backstage either... but I do travel a lot via motorcycle. If this thing works at all, I'd love to have something that'd fit in a saddle bag on trips. Anyone have any experience with this... can it even be tuned?
I don't know if it would fit in with travelling by motorcycle but have you looked at the various travel guitars?
There's the Traveler Guitar or the Soloette for instance which are pretty compact. Coupled with a mini amp you have a complete electric road set up!
well i think that the shredneck is pretty awsome actually. i mean u dont only have to use it for backstage if you're a gigging guitarist. what if you're travling and you cant bring ur guitar. u can use the shredneck. im just saying there's lots of reasons to buy and use it.
