Buddy Guy Live Set on Yahoo!

Blues Legend Buddy Guy recently released a new album called ‘Skin Deep’ and Yahoo! wisely took the opportunity to record a special performance for their Nissan Live Sets feature.

Armed with an ace drummer, a keyboardist, a second guitarist and a bassist, Buddy hit the stage to promote his latest album, the excellent Skin Deep, and took no prisoners. As he tore into “Little By Little,” he immediately headed into crowd and played to the ladies, getting right up in their faces and practically into their laps. He traded vocal licks with the crowd, traded solos with the piano player, played so soft he makes us hang on every note to get to the next one, and then blasted us with the kind of searing volume and distortion usually left to the likes of AC/DC and Motorhead. And this was just the first song! - from Yahoo!

Now I’m not familiar with the Nissan Live Sets site so I’m not sure how long this concert will be available and how long it will be on the front page for but currently you can watch 10 songs one after another, you just have to put up with a Nissan ad in between songs. I have embedded the player above from Yahoo! for ‘Best Damn Fool’ which is the opening track from Buddy’s new album ‘Skin Deep’.
