Daemoness Guitars - cool custom metal guitars

I spotted an article about Daemoness Guitars on Music Radar and had to feature one of these custom metal machines, especially as Daemoness luthier and designer Dylan Humphries resides in Bristol, UK which after living there for a couple of years I have a particular soft spot for!

The guitar to the left is called the “Hadian Antichrist”. The hand painted images are from 15th and 16th century woodcuts, depicting witchcraft, medieval torture and the conception of the antichrist. The guitar has a mahogany body with maple caps, combined with a single EMG pickup and string through construction ensuring massive tone and sustain. If you prefer your flying V to be more plain looking there is also a Hadian V Skull Series spotted in the gallery which so far have been created in White or Black and feature a Floyd Rose Trem and various pickup configurations. Dylan also makes 7 string guitars including the Atlantean which features some pretty cool inlay work!

My guitars are more than simple tools, I give each one its own identity. I have been playing guitar since I was a child, and have seen how the metal guitar has evolved over the years. I create instruments that encapsulate the concepts within metal that have proved over time to be of worth. That is to say; my guitars represent the classic and yet the evolution of the instrument.

I take a lot of inspiration for my guitars from medieval and classical art, literature and philosophy, as well as ancient Nordic mythology and craftsmanship. I am fascinated by medieval art because it was during this time that it first entered (into western thought) the possibility that the world could end. I detect in this a correspondence with the ideas that have inspired metal into being.
