Dava silver pic, gold is so yesterday!

Dava silver pick
So yesterday I featured the Super blinged up Gold Pick, today I present to you the Dava Silver pick! What’s so good about this one? It goes up to 11, no hang on that joke doesn’t work, it has a nickel silver tip and a moulded rubber grip which apparently creates a flexible comfortable pick and apparently is very smooth and never too bright.  Now these picks look pretty cool but if you are at all skeptical check out who is behind the product, Dave Storey, this is the guy that along with Gary Kahler invented the Kahler Trem back in the early 80’s! Check out this story about Kahler on Premier Guitar’s website.

Oh and by the way, they’re a lot cheaper than the Gold pick, a 6 pack will set you back about $7.50 for a set of precision tip picks, or $8.85 for a 3 pack of silver tips.

One of my students bought a sample package of these a few months ago and he really liked them.  For me it was pretty strange to play with.  The difference in the flexibility between the grip and the picks tip was a little disconcerting to me…

Having been a long time steel pick user, these look very interesting indeed.
Must investigate....

Dan, I have a shipment on its way to me so I will be posting a review of the picks in the new year.
