Dean Zelinsky launches DBZ Guitars

Well its finally official Dean Zelinsky the founder and former boss of Dean Guitars has launched DBZ Guitars. As expected the guitars have more than just a passing resemblance to Dean guitars, the logo is kind of an elaboration on the Dean logo using a full eagle with its wings spread rather than just the eagle wings and the headstock looks like it is going to follow the double point style too. There is only one picture on the site at the moment of a red flying V which is like a sculpted version of the Dean V. There isn’t much on the site as yet but there are a couple of links for dealer enquiries and employment opportunities and expect this brand to grow pretty damn fast, Dean Zelinsky carries with him one hell of a reputation!

Well, I guess that if you know to do something, you’d better stick to it so the the fact that the new guitars may look like Dean guitars, well, it’s his hand, it’s his vision…

To be honest if he made a guitar completely different from Dean style they probably wouldn’t sell, he’s already done his market research and knows where he wants to be placed so good luck to him!

The Single cutaway shown in the flash intro is awesome!!! Very cool looking guitars. Not surprising considering who behind the.

hes doing it because of the major drop in quality in the dean guitars, any of the dean guitars under £600/£1300 arent worth looking at for a serious player. all of his new guitars are going to be expensive and there are going to be no beginner guitars

Yes I know he is doing it because of quality issues and lack of control but what I was saying is that his new guitars are using similar design. Having said that, I was basing this on the early designs released, some of the newer designs that are now being previewed on his site are quite a departure from the regular Dean guitars and I reckon they are going to be worth every cent.

I hear Dean has teamed up with the lead guitar player from the WhiteTrash Cowboys ( T. Martin) who also owns a piece of Diamond Amps.
