Grid 1 Battery Powered Tube Guitar Amp selling direct
Posted by Jon in • Guitar Amps,
I heard about the Grid 1 battery powered tube guitar amp when it was announced at this years Winter NAMM but I hadn’t seen any photos so I presumed it was a small travel practice amp, now I’ve seen the video I’m bloody amazed! Now the latest news is that Grid 1 are going to start selling the amp direct so that customers can get the amp much cheaper with prices starting at $1799. The amp, is, according to Grid 1 President, Kevin Frazier, “The only 60 watt battery-powered tube guitar amp that can run on battery power for well over 4 hours on a single charge.”. 60 watts from a battery!
The G1 offers clean, and distortion tube channels, tone controls for each channel (treble/mid/bass), a proprietary double lush reverb circuit on both channels, and an effects send/return that allows the “send” input to act as a preamp out if no return is present. The G1 features Eminence ® high quality neodymium magnet speakers, giving the amp a warm, rich sound, and is equipped with “universal power, which allows the amp to operate or charge with any voltage from 90-240VAC. The G1 measures 27” x 10” x 19”, and weighs only 40 lbs.
The G1 is available in a variety of “green” wood options, including a beautiful bamboo cabinet that is made with the highest quality bamboo plywood.
All G1 amplifiers are sold with a 30-day money back guarantee. To place an order, go to the Grid 1 website at http://www.grid1.com. For additional information, contact Kevin Frazier at kevin@grid1.com or call (800) 928-7144.
