Jet City JCA20H Dave Friedman mods going cheap

Want to get the tone of a Dave Friedman (Rack Systems Ltd) Marsha at a fraction of the cost? Well ok it is not going to sound exactly like a Marsha but then that particular 100 watt head will set you back about $3000, what you can get though is a great little 20 watt head that has a Dave Friedman Brown Eye modification which is meant to get a John Sykes style tone (loosely based on the Jose Modded Marshall heads) and you can add on a saturation switch or a loop for little extra. The best news is that Dave has struck a deal with Jet City and these amps are available from Tone Merchants for $499 which is an absolute bargain!
