If there is one thing I have learned from reading guitar forums like Ultimate-Guitar.com it is that people love to argue over which guitar is the best, or which brand is better. You often see threads like ‘Strat Vs Les Paul’ and ‘Ibanez Vs ESP’ so what better way to duke it out then to have guitar and bass players upload photos of their favourite instrument and let the people choose? Well now you can!

Axewar.com has been slowly building for some time, don’t be put off by the simplicity and lack of design there are apparently over 1000 user uploaded guitars and basses ready to go head to head. The idea is simple, when you go to Axewar.com you are given 2 random guitars, they can be Electric against Acoustic or Bass and all you have to do is click on your favourite of the 2! There are links to the highest and lowest rated images as well as the ability to search pics and of course upload your own. Each guitar has its own stats page with a full sized photo and information on total battles, battles won and some basic information on the price and year of the guitar. So why not upload your beloved guitar and see how it fares?
