Back in January I posted about the release of the Kirk Hammett signature series and now Randall have announced a Kirk Hammett Limited Edition Half Stack which comes with solid Maple cabinetry, chrome hardware and a custom paint job!

The exclusive Kirk Hammett stack includes a 4 x 12” cabinet, 100W power-tube head and signature MTS modules to enable musicians everywhere to attain Kirk’s legendary
tones. The custom gear arrives painted in a black-burst color scheme complete with polyurethane finish. The end result is a visually stunning half stack that fully captures the defining sounds of Metallica’s legendary guitarist.

Pre-loaded with KH1, KH2, and KH3 MTS modules:

  • KH1 - Classic clean tone
  • KH2 - Signature rhythm tone
  • KH3 - Legendary high-gain rhythm
  • Easily replace power tubes with user-friendly power-tube bias
  • MIDI In/Thru for easy switching between pre-amp modules
  • Master volume, presence, and density controls
  • Parallel loop with front panel mix control
  • Series loop

Not a cheap one, $10k is not a low price no matter where you would look at it from.

Nice read, I’ve been searching informtion on the net about this amp and you blog is the most informative.  I really love the see-thru flame maple cabentry, it’s sexxy!  The sound clips on youtube really sound nice. The KH2 and KH1 module are my favorite. I just didn’t feel the KH3 module (maybe it was the amp was eq’d).  Thanks for the article!

Hi Charlie, thanks for stopping by, I’m glad you enjoy Guitar Noize, I just checked out Gear Vault, there’s some pretty interesting stuff on there, the home made Headshell for the Randall RG100ES is pretty crazy!
