Snarling Dogs Spin Slides

Spin Slides
A couple of days ago I wrote about the F-1 Ergonomic Pick and regular commenter Sammy pointed me in the direction of a company I have never heard of before called Snarling Dogs, apparently he uses the ‘Cat Tongues’ picks! Well I had to check these out for myself but I got sidetracked when I spotted the Spinslides! They say necessity is the mother of invention, well how many times have you been playing slide and then been unable to play the next passage because your finger is encased in glass or metal? In my case admittedly not very often, but if you have then you should check out the Snarling Dogs Spinslides as they are quite a clever creation. The slide allows you to simply spin it around so that you can continue playing with regular fretting without having to remove the slide and put it somewhere! It comes with different ring attachments to fit every finger and includes neoprene padding for added grip.

Alternatively you could do what Satch does and glue to your harmonica… right I’m off to invent a harmonica that attaches to your wrist.

Actually they are officially called the Brain model of picks. Their unofficial name is “cat tongue”. Sorry about that.

Hi Sammy, yes I noticed the Brain Picks I assumed the Cat Tongue was a discontinued product, I prefer the latter to Brain picks I must admit!

Yeah, I’ve got one of those spinslides. I still can’t decide if I like it or not.
