Premier Guitar recently caught up with Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter to check out his live rig, it is interesting to see that not only does he use a nice collection of MXR, Z.Vex and CAE analogue pedals but he also runs Native Instruments Guitar Rig in parallel from a laptop, which for some reason is version 3 not the latest and greatest version. The setup also includes the Marshall JMP-1 preamp running into 2 Marshall Power Amps.
