Well it is finally here the new JEM 77 Floral Pattern 2, Steve Vai first hinted about this guitar in an interview with Peter from I Heart Guitar and I wondered how it would differ from the original Floral JEM, well it kind of has a Japanese floral theme to it. It keeps the same vibe as the original Floral JEM but is a little more minimal, the headstock is a bit overdone in my opinion though. It will certainly divide the guitar community into a love it and hate it camp, I don’t think many people will look at this and say yeah it’s ok. I wouldn’t buy it, but then I wouldn’t have bought the original floral JEM but I think it looks kind of cool and good on Ibanez for developing something unique.
