Ibanez Guitars have launched a microsite specifically for their Prestige range including the latest RGD and RGA ranges. I’m not exactly sure why they have done this after all the Prestige range is just the “normal” ranges made in Japan rather than the cheap ranges made in Indonesia, it’s not like it is the custom shop (try even searching for J-Custom’s on Google and you don’t even get a link to a site in the first few pages). What is even more confusing is that if you use the top menu it links to the main Japanese Ibanez site anyway so you immediately navigate away from the microsite?! I think Ibanez really should have just overhauled their main site rather than confuse customers with a separate one, the new microsite shows off the Prestige guitars much better than the main site so why not use this style across the board? Just a thought.
