Well regular Guitar Noize readers will know I like my Steampunk guitars, like Rusted Wings, The Nautilus and the The Villanizer all of which were made by Thunder Eagle Customs but today I found this great steampunk style guitar by McSwain Guitars.
The guitar is called “The Machine” and has a black walnut body covered with hammered and polished aircraft grade aluminium and gauges that are lit with laser LEDs. The tuners are Sperzel and the pickups courtesy of Seymour Duncan. It seems McSwain Guitars has a few famous guitarists in posession of their creations, Slash, Steve Vai and Jerry Cantrell to name a few. Not all of Stephen McSwain’s guitars are metal covered though, I think I’ll be featuring another one of his guitars very soon!
