Here it is, my 2nd guitar that I owned back in 1988. Yes it is pink, and no I don’t know what I was thinking but hey I was 12 years old in the height of 80′s rock, I mean nobody ever questioned Poison! Well, not at first anyway…
So here are the stats of this little rock machine. The neck was hard rock maple with a really nice easy access heel joint, the body is, and I quote from their 1988 catalogue, “solid wood”. Ahem… The pickups are Alnico, yes another vague description so I’m assuming they made them in house? You can check out the catalogue page here if you don’t believe me. Oh and remember this only cost about 200 english pounds so it was pretty good for the money. The locking trem was good, intonation was good and once I replaced the humbucker with a DiMarzio Vai model it sounded pretty cool too!
Coming up soon, my 3rd guitar I evolved in my taste from pink to purple… no really.
