Guitar Licks Master is the latest app from Ninebuzz which takes batches of guitar licks in certain styles and genres and supplies TAB, a recorded version of the lick played on guitar rather than MIDI and the ability to select and loop sections and slow them down to half speed.
The screenshots above are taken from the Texas Trouble pack which consists of 25 Texas blues licks but other packages available include Classic Rock which have licks in the style of Jimmy Page & David Gilmour; Voodoo Fire which is obviously 25 licks in the style of Jimi Hendrix and Metal Masters which contains 25 licks in the style of Dimebag Darrell & Kirk Hammett among others.
What I like about this app is that for $3.79 (in the Australian App Store) you get a good batch of licks that have varying techniques and challenges that are skilfully played by a real guitar player and it is easy to loop different sections of the TAB and slow it down to perfect each performance.
