If you haven’t heard of Quinn Sullivan there have been videos popping up on YouTube for a few years, he initially shot into the spotlight thanks to a performance on the ELLEN show and then in 2007 he met his idol, Blues Legend Buddy Guy at a concert in his hometown. Buddy was so impressed with Quinn’s guitar skills that he invited him to play on his Grammy nominated cd “Skin Deep” where he met future producer and song writing partner Tom Hambridge. Quinn released his first album in 2011, ‘CYCLONE’ and has appeared on US TV shows such as Oprah and the Jimmy Kimmel show. Buddy Guy recently said in a PBS interview “you don’t come across talent like this every day… people called Ray Charles a genius… I think you got another one here”.
Quinn is proud to announce that he will be playing Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 at Madison Square Garden. See the official dates and lineup here. (www.ericclapton.com).
