There seems to be a bit of a metallic flake trend happening at the moment, I have seen Greg Koch demoing quite a few guitars recently for Wildwood Guitars that feature amazing metallic flake paint jobs. Reverend have announced the Gold Metal Flake version of the Pete Anderson signature guitar which follows on from the announcement at Summer NAMM of the new Reverend Pete Anderson Signature PA-1RT. Well it turns out that this guitar is actually only available from Wildwood Guitars so maybe the trend I’m seeing is down to them!

So above you can see two different guitars, the top Tele shape guitar is a Pete Anderson Signature Eastsider-T which fuses vintage and modern design. It has a chambered Korina body, a satin finish, and a compound-radius maple fretboard. With a push-pull phase switch, custom alnico pickups, stainless steel saddles and a graphite nut.

Below is the Pete Anderson Signature PA-1 RT, loaded with Reverend’s own Revtron pickups. It has a Maple hollow-body with Reverend’s proprietary Uni-Brace system (which controls the feedback that you would normally expect in similar guitars) and a 3-piece Korina neck, “R” embossed knobs, and an “R” logo pickguard. All PA-1s come with a Bigsby B70.

The best thing is that these guitars are actually pretty affordable too with the Eastsider set at $999. As I mentioned these gold flake versions are only available from Wildwood Guitars.
