There ain’t no party like a 9 string party! Yes it’s that time where people write comments like “they’ve gone too far” like they did when 8 string guitars were released and obviously they were a complete flop… ok ok so a 9 string is definitely taking the ERG to the extreme but look at what players like Tosin Abasi have achieved on an 8 string, who would have thought that possible? I didn’t I expected a multitude of low string chug-a-thons, so before you say anything let’s just see what the next generation of extended range guitarists can do with these instruments before we shoot them down. So anyway Schecter have announced the C-9 at Winter NAMM 2014 and at the moment I don’t have any details so you will just have to stare at the photo.
Keep an eye on the Schecter Guitars facebook page for more NAMM news.
